Questions are important, answers less so…
Questionable Radio is broadcast monthly on Radio Lewes, a community radio station in East Sussex. The station is funded and run by the award-winning Oyster Project Charity, which offers a range of activities to local people who have disabilities or experience significant life challenges.
At Questionable Radio, we like to ask questions about the issues of our times. From deep philosophical enquiry such as, ‘What is the meaning of life?’ to even greater matters at hand, like ‘What’s the best biscuit of all time?’ (The chocolate hobnob, obvs.) When it comes to debate, the digital age does seem to have created a more binary world. But there can be more than two sides to an issue, and we believe that, in the end, it’s often the discussion itself that matters the most. Questions are important, answers less so!
Questionable Radio is also an eco-conscious outfit. This website is hosted by Kualo, a web-hosting company whose operation is powered by renewable energy; the ISP used is Zen Internet, a community-minded and environmentally responsible organisation; and the gas and leccy bills at QR HQ get paid to Good Energy, one of the UK’s leading renewable energy suppliers. Plus, we never forget to take out the recycling, and have even tried to darn our own socks instead of buying new ones. (But gave up in the end – some socks just need to be put out of their misery. At a clothes bank, preferably.)
We hope you like what you hear, and are encouraged to question, think, indulge in respectful debate, and check out the artists we play. If you’re a listener, philosopher or music fan, and want to get in touch, please do: mail@questionableradio.com.

Stay groovy, keep questioning.
Cheers.
